Control Unit picture

The test equipment consists of two units - a control unit which is usually placed in front of the panel which is being tested so the instruments on the panel and test set can be easily read and a loading unit which is placed close to the busbars of the panel on test.

CONTROL UNIT FEATURES

Direct reading of output current on 3,5 digit True RMS digital ammeter with no multiplication factors
involved.

0 to 230 volt @ 15 A output with voltmeter.

0 to 1000 volt output for performing magnetisation curves with voltmeter to measure output.

Circuit breaker protection for variable transformer and 1000 volt transformer.

LOADING UNIT FEATURES

Link selectable series or parallel connection of output for the two current ranges.

Switch selectable LOW and HIGH range to adjust output voltage for good control.

Loading transformer protected against overtemperature by means of a thermistor fitted in the winding.
